About Qigong
Qigong (pronounced "chi gong") is a self healing art that combines movement, breathing techniques, and meditation. It's origins are rooted in the philosophies of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Taoism, and Buddhism. Qigong's goal is to become aware of and cultivate one's own qi or energy. Daily practice can bring about powerful self healing and transformation.
Matthew teaches the qigong form "One Thousand Hands Buddha". He has studied with Master Liu He and Dr. Liu Dong for two years at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. This year he began a two year healing qigong training course for further self cultivation and teacher training at the Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School.
